8mm Movie Transfers

Do you have old 8mm or Super 8 home movie films collecting dust because you can no longer watch them? The memories captured on these films will continue to deteriorate over time and even be lost if you do not act soon to preserve these precious scenes of the past. Transferring your films to DVD can be the answers to keeping these moments alive for years to come and future generations. We can even sharpen the image at times or tone down the rust color that often develops.

Our prices are 10 cents per foot with a 500 foot or $50 minimum order! The films are transferred to DVD or VHS tape.

Most Common Reel Sizes and Transfer Price to one VHS tape

50 feet = approx. 4 minutes of video = $5
200 feet = approx. 16 minutes of video = $20
400 feet = approx. 32 minutes of video = $40

Approximately every 1600 feet of reel footage will fill up one DVD.

To prepare your transfer, please number all your video reels in the order that you want them to appear on the video. If you don't know what the proper date order for your reels are, we will invite you back to our studio to watch the raw short clips once we have completed the initial reel to editor transfer.

Our easy listening background music can be added at no additional charge to make your home movies more enjoyable to watch.

Each production has one opening title and a closing, which are included free with your transfer.
